rude manager I had an unusaul start to buying my car. I went in to talk to the first salesman. he ended up going into the hospital, then my father passed away. So it took me almost 2 months to buy the car I wanted. When I went in and asked about the new Prius, I was asked by the salesman "what is the one thing you have to have in the new prius, that you like about the prius you have now?" I get the distinct impression that some people are treated better than others by this guy...if you know what I mean. I'll never buy another car at this dealership, or have my car serviced here. I'd sooner drive to Ann Arbor or Kalamazoo. They have better prices, anyway.
I sold my 2008 Prius over a year ago, but continue to get invitations to trade it in on a new Toyota. I have contacted the dealership several times, and they tell me they will delete me from their database, but the "offers" persist. Will be looking for a new dealership.
My 2012 Toyota Camry was purchased new from Grand Blanc Motorcars While driving a couple of weeks later (with less than 1,000 miles), the car begin to run poorly and idiot lights began flashing. When looking for my new Toyota Tacoma, I first visited the dealer in my city, Spartan Toyota. I visited twice, as I was a serious buyer. Although the salesman/sales manager and anyone else didn't think so. Didn't have anything on the lot even remotely what I was looking for, so said they could order it new from the factory, 45-90 days. Did not seem interested at all in dealing. They do not properly service your vehicle, I have caught them repeadly not doing what they tell you they have done; like rotating your tires. I put touchup paint on one tire to clearly identify where the tire was before taking it in for my 15,000 mile service, because I knew they didn't rotate the tires on the 10,000 mile service. When they returned my car the marked tire was in the same location. I made them take it back in and do the tire rotation. My experience with this dealership was not good. I stopped three times and each time I left feeling dirty. It was like they didn't even care if they made a deal or not. Well it was their lose. I drove to Sunshine Toyota an hour away and bought what I should have been able to buy at Spartan.
My car only had 2000 miles on it when it developed a problem. I took it in and told them exactly where I was hearing the noise and that it sounded like an animal was trying to get out. They didn't find anything. At 2600 miles the noise cam back and I took it in immediately. This time they found that an animal had shredded the cabin air filter and had brought walnuts in to the same area. This was not covered under the warranty and I had to pay $68 for the new filter. Would never do business with this dealership or recommend them to anyone. I was so stressed out that I had severe chest pains and spent 2 days in the hospital. First they told me they could get me the new car I was looking for in the color I wanted. The salesman suggested we test drive the Rav4 on their lot even though it was not the color I wanted. He then told me (after the drive) that they could not get the vehicle I wanted, but he would give me a good deal on the one we test drove as it had been setting on their lot too ... read more
