I just wanted to take some time and write about my surgery experience with Dr. Ortega. Let me first start by thanking Vivian, who was very supportive from the beginning of my journey. I am flying to Miami for my surgery. How long should I anticipate staying and what should I bring for comfort after my procedure and compression? I am nervous and excited. It's time to take care of me now. I am doing my stomach first then getting my butt done in 6 months for a more contour shape...
STILL healing - wound has shrunk about 30 to 40 percent from last pic. Now my belly button is inflamed. It was the first to heal and look great now its red and peeling and weepy.

So, I recently had a myomectomy because I had a large fibriod the size of a bowling ball removed from my uterus. I'm in my early 30's and is ready to LIVE again after having that large baby removed from my uterus...lol. I have appts @Harlem Hospital on 6/16th and on 3/5th I have appts @Mount Sinai & NYEE. Hey ladies. Its been awhile since I have been on RS. I have been handling my motherly duties of my 1 and 5 year old while being tied to work and going to school for my second degree.
