Hey Dolls, I am scheduled for a tummy tuck with Dr Mel Ortega at Spectrum Aesthetics in Miami on Aug 1. Anyone scheduled around that time? Anxious and nervous at the same time. I'm staying at a recovery house in Miami for 7 days. Any support or advice is greatly appreciated :)
Dr. Ortega has amazing bed side manner . I didn’t feel rushed and he answered all my questions thoroughly. I went in 6/3 and although swelling has yet to subside my results are amazing . I can’t wait for my body to take its course :)

I have a tummy tuck on July 2nd & I’m very scared !! I’ve done research and everything on him and I’m excited but scared still! Thinking death and other things that can go wrong but I am confident in Ortega! Any suggestions anyone that can make me less scared? I never been under anesthesia! Also do anyone know of any good recovery home ?

I’ve been waiting to have a TT done for at least 2yrs now! Finally booked with the greatest “Reconstruction Master” known to man, Ortega!! He did his magic and even though am still so swollen, I am so happy and relieved that the hard part is over and I can soon get back to working out and living an healthier lifestyle(.) I’m now 11 post op and still hunched over... I’ve been sleeping on the sofa with my legs propped up on the chaise. I miss my bed! I can only walk short distances before the back pain kicks in... I can’t wait to get back to myself. For those of you who’ve had TT, how long was it before you were able to stand up straight?
Cleared for sx, went to pre op appt this monrning... was a little wait time but it’s ok , I had nothing g else to do ... I guess Saturday’s are for follow up appts.. they’re were a lot of girls who were coming in for this .. blood pressure on the little high side, was prescribed too pills and will also do my part as much as I can .. Monday is the big day!
