If it wasn't for the food , I'd give this place a 5 star review. I ordered the patty melt and it was sub- par at best. Total give up. My wife's breakfast tacos, on the other hand, looked great (she says tasted great). The Nashville chicken looked good as well as the bunless burger, but I recommend staying clear of the burger as well as the patty melt. Their burger Patty is a total failure. Overall, I highly recommend Standard Service in Heath to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The combination of exceptional service, wonderful ambience, and a great food selection make this restaurant a must-visit. I will definitely be returning in the near future!
Always a fun place for Good food and service. We enjoy the big TV's for games, race's etc. Relaxed atmosphere.
Great spot for hanging with friends. The pickle ball courts are a bonus. Thoughtfully laid out to maximize dining and entertainment experience. My fav item on the menu is the kale Caesar salad with salmon and a Pinot Grigio. Miss the original space - but they had to grow the biz!
Today my wife and I decided to try Standard Service in Heath, Texas. It's always busy and have walked away several times for rude staff. Today we decided we were going to try to wait it out if we had to. We walked in 5 people in line. We were ignored for several minutes and finally a waitress came up to get us a table. Great bar/restaurant/entertainment facility. Great potential. Customer service was lacking. Arrived and played Pickleball for about 30 minutes. Went back inside to get a table to eat/drink. Seated outside in open area picnic tables. Waited 10 minutes and waiter never visited us although he walked past us multiple times. Seated ourselves at bar and got decent service there. Food was tasty but on the cold side. Drinks were great. Came back a second time and they couldn't combine our bar bills and food not hit again
Waffles were a bit hard. And so was the toast for the chorizo Omelette. Food is a bit pricey for breakfast considering that you only get two small waffles for $14. As for the Chorizo omelette well I didn't appreciate the American imitation cheese used and the mixed greens. I'm not sure how that fits in to a breakfast. Service was ok. Atmosphere is nice. Ambience is upscale ish. Based on my receipt I would recommend the Mimosas which were $3. Therefore after a few of those I am sure your meal won't matter.
Service is good, food is good. The atmosphere is pleasant. Hoping to go back for a brunch experience in a few weeks.
We got the Patty Melt and Short Beef Stroganoff. Both were really great. The fries were especially good!
