I am unable to visit my uncle very frequently as I live a very long way away but all members of staff are always available to discuss any concerns I may have and to keep me updated on my uncle's care. My uncle's visitors frequently comment on the courtesy they are given by all members of staff. I recently had concerns over several care issues and these matters were dealt with quickly and sympathetically. The manager was able to reassure us the matters raised had been investigated and dealt with.

Mum continues to be happy with her care at her home at Stanton Court. She feels safe and secure in the home and the staff do their best to make her feel comfortable. As close family members, we appreciate being informed of any changes to her health and medical care. It has been appreciated when we have received clear updates on her situation and why changes are being made to her medical care.

When I first contacted Stanton Court Nursing Home, recommended by a nursing staff who usually works there as agency staff, looking for respite for my father, I was impressed by how friendly one of the staff members dealt with my enquiry. I had an appointment with the manager to arrange my dad's respite care there. Stanton Court Nursing Home have looked after my husband for 3 years. He has been treated with respect and I have no issues regarding his care. There are times when carers have called in sick - but they always respond to requests for help.

Overall home offer a good service. Food excellent. Care good with dignity. Bedroom poor. Lounges good. Staff very good/caring.

Staff are lovely and very caring. I cannot speak highly enough of them. The food quality is excellent. My godmother seems very well cared for and I feel relaxed knowing that she is in good and capable hands. The home itself has a homely feel but is a bit tired- the stair carpet has definitely seen better days and the building and rooms need some investment and sprucing. Stanton Court continues its tradition of providing caring and attentive support to its residents. I am very impressed with the progress the new (albeit temporary) manager is proactively making in dealing with issues that were picked up by the CQC and have accumulated over a long period of time. Mum was made welcome into Stanton Court especially pleasing as she arrived in just before Christmas in December 2016 late in the afternoon. This could have been a difficult time to settle in, as a family, we felt the staff were very accommodating in getting to know her and her needs which they have endeavoured to meet. She has relaxed and settled into a new way of life and seems happy and content with how things are going. She very much appreciates the help she receives.

I was very pleased that The Home had a change of ownership in October 2016, as I was seriously considering reporting the old owners to the CQC. I am very hopeful that the new owners will make the very necessary improvements as they have indicated.
