RecommendedWe went to see Sing New Year's Eve it's one of our traditions to see a movie that night. I know it is a work in progress the service was great but the unlimited popcorn tub was smaller my kids finished it in 5 min and I hated asking the server over and over for refills. Also some of the items you get less portions than before but price is the same. I also miss the rewards and the mini movies played before movie started that Alamo did. RecommendedWe were sad when Alamo closed down, but we gave Star a try today and were very happy with our experience. Food and service were still great and glad to hear that they were going to host some fun events at the theater in the future. We will definitely be back!
RecommendedYears ago I used to go to the location in Conroe and I always enjoyed it. After becoming a fan of the Alamo at Vintage I was a little concerned that they were changing. My fears were put to rest once I realized it was a Star Cinema. The staff is excellent and the new cocktails were awesome!
RecommendedWent yesterday around lunchtime for our first visit since the theatre changed from Alamo Drafthouse to see "Rogue One" with my daughter. As a long time Alamo customer, I was happy to find the experience was very much like before (of course, I do miss the pre-shows and the Victory club perks) However, our server Mason, the food, and the timeliness of our service were all great! We'll be back again soon and look forward to the coming renovations that we heard about- Keep up the great work, Thanks!
