Save your pets and stay away.
If you care about your pets, I would not take them here. They made numerous medicinal mistakes including wrong vaccination schedule along with medicinal dosing error. Thankfully, my fiancé is nurse, and was able to catch the issues before hand. If you have any sort of issue or complication, they will not take any accountability to learn from their mistakes. By law, we do have to complete an annual exam to prescribe medications. This is even more so important when prescribing a controlled drug. Unfortunately, we could not honor your request to refill a drug that was not prescribed by our office without this. Policies are uncaring for dog owners in distress. Front desk employees are great but not the director
I’ve been taking our pets to Startch for years and we have always enjoyed our experience. We have had two adult dogs, two litters of puppies, two kittens and sadly a puppy put down within 2 years. We know the clinic very well! Something must have changed this last year though. We have had nothing but issues with services and nothing but attitudes while talking to the veterinarians. I will say though that the rest of the staff is amazing but we are moving to a different vet.
RecommendedAt first I was all about writing a five-star review... The veterinary doctor and everyone else who oversaw my rescues care could not have been more kind and compassionate... Bobo, my rescue, even had pooped on the doctor and then Peed on me upon departure and, unfortunately there were complications which the staff even assisted me in thankfully, out in the car and I could not have been more grateful, Because both myself and the dog were somewhat hysterical. 6 out of 10 Vet Office Reasoning; Receptionist/ Vet techs were all very pleasant and professional. Pricing is pretty reasonable for DSM area. There are at least 6+ vets that do work at the location and the vet WILL change EVERY TIME unless you specifically ask for the same veterinarian (which I never asked if this was possible). we have been here a few times with my dogs the doctor was really nice but went yesterday seen a different vet literally acted like my dog was going to bite judging me cause it's a shar pei first off my dog has never bite anyone. asked for two refills wouldn't give me any even though he has a chronic condition with his ears. I wont be going back felt unwanted.
