The tech bruised my mouth while trying to get X-rays, and they pushed a deep cleaning on me without ever discussing it with me first. I actually had to interrupt them to say no while they were already talking to other staff about it. When they did the regular cleaning, it felt like they spent maybe five minutes on my mouth, almost like they were annoyed that I didn't agree to the deep cleaning on the spot during my very first visit to their office. Be VERY careful with the wheatridge/lakewood office. They drill holes in your teeth to charge you for fillings. The dentist Dr. Grant didn't take an xray or even take a look, before coming out with a syringe to go to work. He previously hammered my tooth and caused nerve damage that lasted about 5 months. DISHONEST MAL-PRACTITIONERS. SHUT THEM DOWN!

I went here a couple of times because my insurance changed and I needed to find a new dentist. I went for a routine cleaning and they told me I had 11 cavities. Actually, it was the financial secretary who went over my X-rays and the $3,600 bill to discuss my treatment plan. I was shocked I had so many cavities since I have gone to the dentist regularly throughout my life. I asked to speak to the dentist to ask if this was a sign of something unusual. If I could give a minus star I would. I was told my insurance covered a crown 100% So I booked an appointment. I showed up and they told me my insurance only covered 30% My insurance has not changed in years. They wanted $795.00 before I sat in the chair. I said, I could not afford it. They said they'd finance it. I again, said, no and walked out. Then, they sent me a text for a bill for $150.00 for leaving!!!! WTH? I grew up in the dental industry. Went to this office one time and had a very bad experience that now continues two years later. During the visit (3/2023) both the dentist and hygienist were talking about how they did not want to be there while working on me. I then said I did not want to schedule a future visit and they did anyway then tried to charge me a cancellation fee for a visit I never wanted or asked for. Had a very unpleasant interaction trying to get a billing statement resolved. I received a billing statement for $200 for a routine cleaning on December 6th (despite having insurance) and called the office the same day to inquire about the balance. I was told that the office manager was the only person who could discuss billing inquiries and they would reach out to me via e-mail on Monday, December 9th. My husband and I went there today (12/10/24) as new patients. First off when I called to make the appointments I asked for back to back appointments. That didn't happen. I went first, I made sure to tell the receptionist that all I needed was a referral to a specialist. I was expecting to fill out paperwork before being taken to the back. That didn't happen. Terrible experience, stay away!!! I started going a little over a year ago for routine cleanings and periodontal maintenance because my previous dentist stop taking UHC insurance. Each time I would go back there were different employees and techs at the desk and in the back. The last time I went for routine maintenance, as usual I didn't recognize anyone. This is my first time writing a Yelp review, and unfortunately, it's for the worst experience I've ever had. If I could give zero stars, I would. I know that is very cliche but I really mean it. DON'T GO HERE. I had four cavities filled, and not only did they have to redo two of them, they didn't even fix it right on their second try.
