Newage of tech installed is user friendly and secure. The facility is remarkably clean. The units are climate controlled and the facility stays cooler than any other storages I've used in San Diego. The staff is always professional and present to during office hours. Use of the newest technologies might seem confusing to some but Madelynn ( the manager) makes the process easy to understand and is very informative of any questions you may have. Very nice facility over all.

I am beside myself with the kindness and consideration Of Madelyn the super fun and we'll informed associate in the front office of Staxup Storage Lakeside ( 12410 Lakeside Avenue in Lakeside )! I am very happy, I just rented a 5x6 storage unit and the price was very reasonable consider it's still considered a brand new facility and everything is still gorgeous it smells new too! Had my unit for almost a week and it got broken into. I wasn't notified for 24 hours. Apparently apparently 6 units got broken into that night somebody had propped open one of the doors that was not secured electronically. They did not even call the sheriff's. One of the other clients that was broken into called to have their stuff fingerprinted and note what was stolen. Management did not even know until one of their other clients came into the office and said they had been broken into. They have video cameras I don't know ... read more

Do not use this place! Our unit was broken into as well as several others. They are being unresponsive and difficult to work with regarding the break in. The on-site people have no clue about anything and no access to security cameras. Not being able to use your own lock and solely relying on their system leaves your things very vulnerable.

this place never has an actual employee on site. the system they use on your phones if great but no one is ever there to help. i was just there and had to call another location to have someone come out and they had an attitude the whole time. they were supposed to be there earlier because another customer had already called and said they were on their way and needed help getting into their storage and the lady we spoke to said that they should have called earlier when they already had. the place itself is great but the custo... read more

Amazingly clean and secure storage units, and the ease of using the phone app to open the front door and the unit itself was awesome. We just moved from a StaxUP unit (for 1.5 yrs) to another company closer to our home, and after checking out other closer companies, we realized we just won't find another one as nice as StaxUP. Matthew, the manager, is so helpful and friendly, always a pleasure to see. He is a great example of how to run a storage facility. My husband and I are sad to leave StaxUP, and will refer often. The customer service is phenomenal. I spoke with Matthew and he made the process quick and easy. The prices are affordable and the units are nice and easily accessible for clients only...and the communication is great!
