They do not want you to ever call and ask any questions, if you do call and ask questions they will red line your name. They have never allowed us inside the facility, I have only been up to the front door. Overall I would not recommend to others looking.
It was horrible, you could smell pee. It was strong. They are suppose to take care of the people who may not remember to use the restroom. My dad said no way when he smelled the community. Other than that, the presentation and knowledge of the facility from the staff was good. The smell just gave us a bad experience.
I want to share my journey with anyone caring for and considering placing their loved one. Placing a parent, my father, was and continues to be the hardest decision I made in my life!! Dementia and Alzheimer's not only affects the afflicted, it affects those closest to the person just as much if not more. I was very disappointed, for being an Alzheimer facility they had a communal bathroom in the hallway. They should have their own bathroom for no confusion or to not use someone else's toothbrush. They had too many people living there. They gave me a good tour but I did not like the place.
