You team sent a lot of last minute emails saying they needed a document within 24 hours. I am pro active, not reactive. Also, if it‚Äôs that last minute and needs attention, call or text the individuals. Not everyone reads their email all day. Or everyday for that matter.

It was really hard to communicate directly to Steve. I always had to call Mike, the head of realtor team to contact him. Also, when they need something to be signed, we were told to (almost forced to) sign right away within 24 hours, while when we need something, it takes too many days. The response took so long. The docs were not prepared on the closing date so it got extended 2 hours. Never experienced it with my other home closing dates.

Mr. Miller treats his clients as his assistants, and his work is sloppy. He failed to respond to comments promptly, and attempts to lay his responsibilities onto his clients. Our realtor noted he was the "least responsive loan officer she'd worked with in many years. Worse, he doesn't even get numbers correct. At closing our loan amount was $5000 more than we had asked for. I strongly recommend not using Embrace loans or this loan officer.

Communication was lacking. Steve ended up making good on everything at the end and fighting for us. We were pleased with the end result but getting to the end was a trying experience.

Would have beeen better if more information proivided along the way, such as results to to inspections. A bit overly cautious about letting other loan comapnies pull my credit score, seemed to discourage competition. Otherwise competent and good with basic communications.
