We are so grateful for all the Drs and staff at Stevenson. The care they have for our dog Otis is unmatched! Hands down best vet in Baltimore and best vet I've ever been to. Our dog ate something he shouldn't have right before a big vacation and they helped us figure out what was going on and treat Otis so we could still go on our trip! They called us after hours with lap results and each staff member handled our dog (who had so much anxiety) with care and patience. I've been taking my rescue puppy to Stevenson Village Vet for three years, and I love them so much. They charmed my puppy from the very first visit with squeeze cheese on a tongue depressor! So he loves going to the vet! Every issue I've encountered with his health (and there have been a few) has been handled with care and concern. Every doctor we've seen there has been amazing. And they don't do anything without running the potential costs by me first. They are respectful, caring, and just dog-whisperers in general.

There are no words to adequately describe the exceptional care provided by every single member of the staff at Stevenson Village Veterinary Hospital. The last vet I was going to was staffed almost exclusively by high school aged kids. They loved animals but they weren't great at cleaning or customer service. Stevenson Village Vet is better in every way. The entire space seems clean and inviting, featuring a mesmerizing fish tank in the waiting area and windows to the outside giving natural light. My cat had a bladder stone removal procedure in Stevenson Village Veterinary in early April. Dr. Rathbun and Dr. Vinson did incredible job. The whole experience, from the first appointment scheduling to the post surgical care, was amazing. There was multiple phone calls and emails with detailed and thorough instructions on post operation care, medication administration, blood work and other tests results and future plans to prevent this issue from happening again. We found Stevenson Village Vet when we first moved to Baltimore and got a dog in early 2010, and stayed with them until we moved in 2021. They were so wonderful in dealing with all our dog's issues (seizures, leash aggression, anxiety, skin issues, heart issues). They treated our crazy pup like a queen and took such great care of her. When she was diagnosed with a terminal heart issue, the vets and staff were compassionate and respectful. I called here because Evergreen Care Veterinary wanted to charge me $950+ for a spaying and the take home meds for a dog ALREADY vaxxed. I asked the receptionist here how much approx would a spaying be, she told me maybe $550 to $650. I got told a appointment for a "new patient exam" wouldn't be available until September 21 which was 2 weeks away so I took it cause of the quoted spaying cost.
