Food was great. Service was a bit slow but appeared our server had many tables. So short staffed a bit.
In a time where food quality and service at some of our favorite restaurants has waivered, we were particularly impressed with StoneCreek. We recently moved to the area and will definitely be back. The careot cake was awesome too.
Surprised to be the only diners at Stone Creek at 2:30 on a Saturday. But now that it’s dark at 5:00 were dining early. Well, actually, we were brunching as that was our available menu. Three of our party chose the Shrimp & Grits and were pleased. One person choose the eggs and steak. The eggs were more done than over easy. The steak was good but too highly seasoned. We were happy to have a quiet place to catch up on each other’s lives for the last few weeks. It was a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that we totally enjoyed.
Our waiter Hank was fantastic. His timing in checking on us was perfect. Felt relaxed and not rushed. I would specifically ask for him. The salmon never disappoints.
Our server, Shawn, was a delight after a rather chilly encounter with the hostess. She misread our reservation and sat us at a table with service for 2 when the reservation was for 3 diners (I double checked my email to be certain I hadn't made a mistake). She was quite displeased when we asked to be moved. She did find another table for us and from then on, we enjoyed our lunch.
Absolutely best steaks in town!!! Thank you for this wonderful experience!
