My wife and I went with friends for our anniversary. We were underwhelmed by the calimari appetizer, but everything else was very good. Try the Blackened Mahi Mahi or the Seared Cobia. We also got a free dessert for our anniversary. Nice touch.
Never had a bad experience here, and we go quite often. Stephanie is always awesome and is one of the main reasons we come back. Service is great, food is terrific! Had my sister's birthday and accommodated us and my 6mo old (at the time)
We chose this place because we were going to a comedy show close by and wanted somewhere convenient. It was great! The menu had a wide variety of items and all had descriptions that told of complex sauces or interesting combos of sides. They locally source their food when possible, so freshness was happening. Always always always an excellent meal. Great service. Our waitress took extra time to make suggestions on what was good and describing things in detail. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.
There was a large party (20+) that was extremely loud. Even though they were in a secluded area, the noise carried into the dining room. The food was good, but the presentation on the plates was not. The shrimp appetizer was awash in oil and came with already soggy bread. The seafood broil looked like a pile of "stuff".

This was our first time at this restaurant, made reservations early in the day. When we arrived our table was ready, however, they seated us right next to the kitchen. I should have asked to be moved, which the people next to us did. Besides having the staff constantly walking past our table, it was extremely noisy, not only because of the clanking dishes and other kitchen noise, but the restaurant was noisy from people talking, there was nothing to absorb the sound from bouncing around the restaurant. We are on vacation in Cincy and found this gem in Montgomery. We were seated immediately and our server was very attentive. Her advice on menu items was right on target, showing her knowledge of the variety they have on the menu. High backed booths provided just enough privacy. Parking is an issue, though, in this area, especially when there are private parties. Overall, good food, great service...definitely would go back!
Had a nice lunch... My wife and her Mother... They will be back and back...
