Great place to eat in Montgomery. Never eaten there before and was pleasantly surprised!
This was our 1st time at Stone Creek. It was my daughters 25th birthday. We made reservations & upon arriving we were seated right away. The restaurant is beautiful & much larger than you realize. Nice wine list & menue. Our waitress was fairly new. She was well trained on the menue. Very good service & food was excellant. Noise level was unbearable. However,there were three private parties so I am sure that contributed to the noise level. Service was very slow. The restaurant was acceptable for a neighborhood quick dinner. It was nothing outstanding.
Tables by the kitchen are unacceptable in my opinion.... just too noisy to enjoy the experience. There were other tables available, hosted did not even broach the subject... we had to ask to be moved.
We were impressed with the food at this restaurant. The sevice was amazing. The waitresss was very attentive and very nice without being a nuisance. She seemed genuinely concerned that we were having a nice time. The food was reasonably priced and very good. The restaurant is in a prime location in the heart of Montgomery. The restaurant looks a little dated. If they had a make over I think it would be a big boost to the restaurants popularity. Not that its terrible now but it could be FABULOUS.
We always enjoy our dining experience here, but a bit less so this time since we had a baby with us. This is not a good place for that, given lack of any changing facilities in either restroom, but maybe it's not trying to be. Food is always really great, staff ranging from adequate to really welcoming. Nice to have a neigborhood restaurant that is reliably a terrific meal.
A good meal in a pleasant setting. Went on a Saturday night, it was busy, and staff were at the ragged edge of control. Seated with one menu to share for tale of four, waited too long for bar drinks, beyond that it was good - busy not not overly loud, food vey good and a good value. I'd go back,though might choose to arrive slightly off peak time
Our service was a little slow and there was some minor confusion on our order, but maybe it was because it was busy and loud. ??? Food was good, nothing crazy spectacular, but we had a very nice time and enjoyed the experience. Would I go back? Sure. I'd say overall it's 3.5 out of 5 stars.
the design of the restaurant was beautifully done. decor was outstanding. food and service were very good, noise level was high.
