It must just be me and having dinner at stonecreek! I go with a gang of girls about once every 2 months and we always have great salads and very attentive staff. My husband and myself were there on Thursday night and we invited a couple from wyoming that have never been. The restaurant was very busy; obviously, the recession hasn't hit stonecreek! We went for my dad's birthday. I was impressed that they had a card on the table for him, plus he received a complimentary dessert. As usual, the food was great and the service was also good. We love the bread and dipping oil.
Service was good. Meal was ho-hum. The honey walnut chicken had a great description on the menu, but was on the tasteless side. Dined at Stone Creek several times and have always been very happy. Not this time.
The food was excellent, and the menu varied.
This is a great place and a perfect fit for Montgomery. Upscale casual with good value and service...classify it in the same category as maybe a J Alexanders (give it a nod over JA for a better bar space). Great atmosphere, wine list, and menu.
We really had a great meal and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant!
