Food was great, service was slow.
My husband and I enjoy coming to Stone Creek - Montgomery, and we have always had an excellent meal. On this particular night, my husband had the duck confit, with ravioli. Whereas it was, in his words, "phenomenal", he thought that the portion was a bit on the small side (and he is in no way a big eater). Everything else was, as always, extremely enjoyable and delicious! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.
Great for Father's Day dinner. Perfect variety on the menu! Tried the fish tacos for the first time - will definitely have them again. Happily - not too noisy! People kept saying it was going to be overpriced - was priced just fine!!!
Nice menu selection. Prices a tad higher than expected. Noise level was much higher than I expected. All in my party had to raise our voices to be heard.
We have driven by and wondered about the restaurant for a while. We were in the mood for a steak and decided to give Stone Creek a try. We were very pleased with our decision. The quality of the food, atmosphere and service were great! This will be a regular on our list of frequently visited places.
I had a very good experience at Stone Creek. Chose this spot to take my boyfriend (who expressed he had visited and liked Stone Creek years ago) and his father for Father's Day dinner. We went mid-afternoon, so the restaurant was essentially empty...and thus very quiet and serene. The staff is so accomodating, very service oriented without be too much so. food was also good.A definite return to spot.
Our visit was average. It was a Sunday evening so the place was not too crowded. We did get a table in the front by the windows facing Cooper...a first; we're usually in the room to the right of the entrance. Service is what made the trip average...while we were attended to, it seemed almost as an afterthought as we had to ask if there were specials, ask for more water...the food was okay. Stone Creek is one of our favorite Cincinnati restaurants. We feel it is a good value and the food and service is consistently good. We usually go on a weekday since it is quieter then. The salmon and spinach was excellent and there was enough spinach not just a dab.My husband had the crab cakes and per usual was happy. We like there wine selection and the serving size is fair though the huge wine glasses make it look like it's not. Try it if you haven't yet.
