We ordered the spicy garlic shrimp for an appetizer. My wife got the campfire pasta. I got the horseradish steak. Everything was excellent.
patio dining at it's best When the weather is nice I really enjoy Stone Creek. The patio is nice for lunch dinner with friends or family. Drink specials on Wednesday evenings. The food is always amazing and the portions are not too generous. I'm a regular!
Another fine lunch I was pleasantly surprised to know the Plainfield Stone Creek was open for lunch, so I met a friend. Seating was prompt and the food was quite good. I will definitely return.
Unexpected find Wanted a good steak restaurant following the Indy 500 but didn't want to go downtown so this was ideal as only a short drive from our hotel and easy parking.
Good but not Great We picked this restaurant from an internet search for dinning in Plainfield as we were from out of state Had a late lunch early dinner for my college graduate (party of 8). Food was very good. Server was attentive but did disappear a little too much. Main entrees we a little slow coming out after the appetizers. Nice atmosphere.
Great food and nice setting The food here is really very good and there is great variety including steak and seafood. You can sit outside on a nice day. The staff is friendly and the service is good.
$$ of food does not reflect service Great atmosphere & food. When you pay $40 per person you should have outstanding service. I think management needs to pay attention to the service given. Server Kept dropping water and oil on us as he was reaching over to pour. Never offered a drink menu. We asked about drink specials. He didn't know and didn't bother to check. Very busy Entrees were very good. Lots of people there on a Saturday night. Service was good. Pretty loud.
Easter Brunch Great food as always. Service was great was always. The only bummer was that we were the first to be seated in an otherwise EMPTY ROOM, so it felt like we were excluded from the rest of the Easter Brunch crowd. There were patrons throughout the rest of the restaurant, and I understand the need to space out tables amongst servers - we just felt banished to quarantine... until more customers showed up into our "private" sterile cavern. Eggs Benedict were CRAZY good.
