Great way to end 2013 We dined at Stone Creek in Plainfield to celebrate New Year's Eve, and we enjoyed it so much it may become a yearly tradition as a way to end the year. Food was excellent and wait staff was superb. This restaurant offers unique menu items that are very tasty. We also appreciated the convenient location for such fine dining. We will definitely be returning!
Always a winner I enjoy Stone Creek for lunch, dinner, or a quick drink. And, I haven't found a menu item I don't like!
Nice dinner...details overlooked We love Stone Creek and enjoyed our shrimp, pasta, and entree salads. Server was delightful and attentive despite how busy he was. Only complete, they miss the details. "Can I have this well done? Of course" comes out regular. Can I have the sauce on the side? Yes. Kitchen misses it. Nothing major but room for improvement.

Just about five starts Outstanding service and cuisine. Pricey but a great value. Very attentive and knowledgeable service. Would have gotten five starts but the white wine was much too cold. A great Sauvignon Blanc should not have ice clinging to the bottle...had to wait about fifteen minutes to appreciate it. Also, the food came out too quickly...we didn't have time to enjoy the apps, salad before the entrees came out. Fabulous Meal! Service was exceptionally good, the food was delightful! The outdoor dining is nice, but now it is getting a bit cold. The main dining area tends to be a little noisy, the person in our group with a hearing aid could not hear the conversations. Desserts are FABULOUS! Highly recommend!
