My husband & I went nr onight for the 1st time & we're very disappointed! Our waitress was excellent & very sweet (sorry to say I didn't get her name) but we had ordered a New York Strip steak dinner. Baked potatoes went back & the 2nd one wasn't any better, tasted like they had been sitting there for days. I very rarely leave negative reviews but I was particularly disappointed in the meal I just had with my wife and my sister-in-law to celebrate my birthday. I'd been eager to try Stone Summit and when we decided to go to a movie this evening at the theater in the same complex we decided to make a reservation. The service was slow and inattentive. My review.... Waited 6.5 minutes after being seated for service to come around. Waitress did not ask if I wanted wine, cocktail, or appetizer. When waitress took order she had to read specials--wait staff at this type of establishment should have it memorized. Waitress came around good amount to see how we were. Overall service 6.5/10 Calamari was very good. Perfectly cooked, nice chili sauce. 10/10 Caesar salad came out way too early. We had just gotten our appetizer about 1 minute earlier. Very slow service. They were not that busy but both the food and dessert took a long time. One of the steaks was to be medium rare but came out medium well. The ribeye has a coffee type glacé which I asked for on the side. They put it on the steak, which tasted like burnt coffee grounds on a ribeye. I ate a few bites and it literally made me sick to my stomach. They took it off the bill and I really had no appetite after that. Probably will not go back. Overpriced for both the food and the service.
We wanted to try this new steak and seafood resturant. We got a table very quickly. Waitress took our orders first of all they where out of the ribeyes then ordered the shrimp and she came back to tell us they are out of that as well. You are a steak and seafood resturant you shouldnt be out of these items. We will not be returning. Very disapointed.
To expensive, no sides and I could get better food at Texas Road house.
Had high hopes going in as it looked like a great place. Ordered the NY Strip and Mahi for the lady. Neither were anything special. The same kind of meal you can get at any chain steakhouse like Longhorn or Outback. Overall, the atmosphere was nice and staff was friendly, but food is rather disappointing.
