This storage facility is very convenient right by the 60 and 605 Frwy. Never had any problems and so easy to access my goodies. Irene has been there for me with all her patience and helpfulness for all my storage and moving needs. Reasonable rates in this area with easy accessibility. Clean and well kept storage lot.
We recently signed a 3 year contract with a warehouse. Unfortunately, we were not able to move in by the time our shipment arrived. I went to my regular storage facility in Pasadena and was quoted a ridiculous price. I happened to be at my father's work in City of Industry and came across Storage Outlet in South El Monte. Not only was Irene (the manager) a sweetheart, but they had a storage that was 3 times the size of the one in Pasadena but it was also 1/3 of the price as the same unit in Pasadena. I have had my storage on & off for the past 10 years or so. I haven't had a problem with my storage being broken in to, leaks, & definitely have not seen rodents running around or in my unit as some other person(s) stated. The storages are kept up & the staff is friendly & helpful. I like the convenience of paying online. It's a decent size facility with lots of spacious room to fit your vehicle(s) during moving. I had several units in this facility over my six year stay. Never had an issue or a problem. I had the convenience to pay my rent online. Or walk in and pay. The staff was very friendly, courteous and gave great customer service especially Irene. Facility and unit areas were clean and clear. felt secure especially with all the cameras and law enforcement I tend to see at neighboring gas stations. The hours of operation were also a big plus for me.
Do not put expensive furniture in these pods because they get damaged. There's a lot of condensation that they failed to tell you and the manager is a coward and will never return your calls. At this point, I'm ready to take it to court. The staff also take accountability. They're super nice to you when you're signing up because they want your business after that they do you like the plague.
I'm in shock how many positive reviews this place has , it's disgusting! When I took out my items they had SPIDERS all over them multiple disgusting bugs all over the unit ! I don't recommend if you have a mattress or clothing get a different storage this place is not even a bargain for literally the same price you can have a non-bug infested unit ! I had to re-wash every article of clothing that came from there and I had to throw away my bed and my mattress as well as a carpet that I had because it was so disgusting ! O... read more
I had this storage unit for several years..one day I went there and noticed my lock was different...cause I had my own...so I went to the office to see why..their lock was on my storage...well someone had broken in...cut my lock off with a saw...luckily that storage only had clothes...so they didn't take anything..I went to home depot and bought thicker locks and I put 2 of them ....to make sure ..but was never notified about anything..I was upset with the facility for not telling me....so people make sure u put really good ... read more

This storage facility is garbage They have no security here, my storage unit was broken into and my personal belongings and recent wedding items were stolen. Seems fishy to me how the security camera overlooking my storage unit area was conveniently not working. They lost my business and do not recommend anybody store their things at this facility. They do not even deserve one star.

I called and left a message to inquire on storage pricing and didnt get a call back until 2 days later. Then when a Tim called me, gave me price quotes, I asked him if there is any 1st month promotions. Tim laughs and says "I usually don't talk about promotions until someone comes to view the unit." I tell him well I'm comparing prices and I went to public storage yesterday already so I want to compare before I commit." And he says "oh don't go there."
