My rent was $40 after the promotion I signed up with ended. About 6 months into my contract, it was increased to $48. And at one year, the price was increased to $87. Luckily, the contract stated they had to give me a 30 day notice, and they failed to do so. The day after I called to discuss the price, my storage unit was broken into. When we arrived to get our free lock and access code the office was locked with a sign on the door saying to call the customer service representative was on the property. I called the number and the rep was clearly annoyed he had to come let us in. When he took us to the unit which is the largest and most expense at $226 a month, the light was out. The rep told me they were out of lightbulbs and we had to go purchase and install our own. So you’re telling me I’m paying all this money and can’t even get a working light?!?! I... read more
