RecommendedSuch a relaxing place to get away! Food was great, cabin was clean.
Unlike anything I have ever experienced the main lodge has a feel right from an old lodge similar to Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone National Park. I absolutely recommend coming here. The small little touches on the island resort were amazing and the staff was so incredibly nice! Need time to slow life down come and have a stay at Stouts Island Lodge!
Our family of three had a lovely time on the island last week. The temperature was blissfully mild yet we were still able to swim a bit and get out in the kayaks to tour around Red Cedar Lake. We enjoyed our meals...especially the grilled trout for dinner, the warm goat cheese salad for lunch and the homemade granola at breakfast. Every staff member we met on the island was friendly, and we hold a special place in our hearts for Kelly the gardener...who keeps the place looking like the magical wonderland it is:) We'll be bac... read more

RecommendedJust the place to rekindle your energies. No t.v.'s or phones! Guess there is a t.v. In boat house but... Sitting on lawn in wooden chairs, read a book, enjoy coffee or drinks. Very quiet and comfy. We have a screen porch as well. Staff very personable. Food very nice. Even made me oatmeal for breakfast! Not on menu. ❤️

First visited the Lodge a few years ago with good friends and colleagues... it was so warm and intimate, the grounds were so relaxing, and the ambience was phenomenal... not to mention the food and service. Looking forward to the next visit...
