The mechanic was very helpful and professional.
Straight oil change on fleet car. The upsell attempt was over the top. The young man who was customer facing explained that if I didn’t use synthetic oil, my engine might blow! He also stated that “they “ recommend it, but couldn’t tell me who “they” are. I called my lease plan rep and was told that conventional or synthetic oil is fine. After that long conversation, I asked again for a simple oil/filter change as I’ve done on at least 4 other lease cars for years and the next thing I see is my air filter!
