RecommendedI’ve been traveling for over 30 years. Always wished I had a guitar that would be easy to take on the road. Now I do! RecommendedI discovered Strobel Guitars at a Namm show a few years ago. My friend Elliot Randall brought me by the booth and I met Russ who showed me his guitars. I am delighted to find a such a transportable instrument that can be as flexible as these guitars are. Being someone who uses a lot of tunings, having various instruments on hand is essential for my touring needs. RecommendedLately I find that I am traveling a lot, and I really miss having a guitar to play. So I looked around for a guitar that I could travel with. My search brought me to Strobel Guitars. For me having a neck that is detachable is a big plus. Removing and installing the neck is quick and easy and it fits in my suit case or back pack. Playability is far better than expected. RecommendedClear and strong, and astonishingly portable. The tuners being placed on the bottom angled toward each other helps save space, but may be a little cramped if you have large fingers, or (more especially) if you have fingerpicks on. RecommendedIf you want an electric travel guitar that is actually high quality/ just smaller this is the one. Don't waste your time on that junk in the big box stores, you could use the Strobel on a gig. It's that good!
