RecommendedI’m a bass player who occasionally plays an acoustic guitar for sing a longs with friends. Due to Covid, our band hasn’t gigged in over a year, so I’ve been playing more guitar, and decided I wanted to try an electric guitar. I did tons of research and ended up pulling the trigger on a Strobel Rambler. I love the variety of tones that I can get from this, and the sustain is amazing. It’s also very well made and pleasing to look at. I’m planning on taking this with me on my sailboat this summer. Thanks, Russ!
RecommendedBest travel guitar! Full fretboard, super easy to assemble/disassemble (literally five minutes), so it’s truly a portable guitar, but not one half a guitar like some other travel ones. Plays great, lots of different sounds with the pickup selector/controls, and great tone. Highly recommend it!

RecommendedI bought the Strobelcaster Plus almost a year ago as a travelling gig guitar. What I thought I would do is use it for fly-ins and keep my Music Man "Albert Lee" as my main guitar. Well, fast forward almost a year and my Music Man site sadly in its case, unused, as the Strobelcaster Plus is my main guitar. Not only does it play and sound great, it is such a curiosity with my audiences. Great instrument I can carry with me anywhere. Thanks Russ!

RecommendedI've had my Rambler for over 8 years and have taken it all over the world. It has been taken apart and put together nearly 1000 times, still plays and sounds great. It is exactly what I want, full scale neck and fits in a carry-on.

RecommendedI’ve been cruising on my sailboat with my Rambler from SE Alaska to New Zealand for 4 years, jamming along the way down the US west coast, Mexico, South Sea Islands and presently in Opua, Bay of Islands on the North Island of New Zealand. RecommendedI have a first gen Rambler which is 10 years old. My guitar has a few mods that Russ has done over the years and I have to say this guitar is awesome. I travel every week for my job and this guitar goes with me everywhere around the world. It plays great, sounds fantastic, and not only that but looks really cool too.
