There was lots of miscommunication during underwriting. My boss was bothered several times per day regarding my employment information. I was asked for a different document almost every day...it would have been better if I was asked for all the documents at once. It seemed very unorganized.

Upfront I would have appreciated discussing the process - get a picture of what it would involve. I called to get a quote but I felt I was the one seeking business; I felt Churchill was unsure of its own process or what was expected; so I would be told one thing then whoever from cyberspace tells me something totally different. There was a lot of inconsistencies on what was needed etc and difference to the lender company no one dealing with me willing to take owneship.

This was the my fourth home purchase, so I understand the need to add certain documentation as the process goes, but I was absolutely amazed at the level of disorganization and consistent changes needed at every step along the way. We were told one thing one day, and another the next. I am sure there are excuses, but even my last piece of communication (just as an example), was a phone call late at night imploring me to signed a document. Then I hear, "Oops! It's actually here!" That sums it up.
