RecommendedMy husband and I have been bringing our Kitties to Suffield Veterinary Hospital for Thirty years. We just don't trust anyone else with the care of our 4 legged family members. The excellent care they are given can't be matched by any other Veterinary facillity. In emergencies and it times of having to sadly put one of our pets to sleep, there is such care and concern not only for the pet but for us owners. Even most of our pets don't mind going to see the vet for check-ups.
RecommendedVera and I like coming to SVH. I used to be cynical about people working with dogs. I thought they just pretended to love canines. But a few years ago, it dawned on me that people like the staff of SVH really care about what they are doing. Our dog was very ill two years ago but she received constant care over several months and the staff spent as much time comforting me as they did Vera. And the best thing about Courtney, Ashley, and Erin at the front desk is that they laugh at my jokes.
RecommendedSuffield Veterinary has been great with my dog Bella. They really care about all of the pets and I would recommend them anytime. The care and service is much appreciated!

This was our go-to when our dogs were puppies, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone now. We took our female dog in for an ultrasound to verify if she was pregnant or it was a false pregnancy. The point of the visit was to do just that and do a wellness check. She was taken to another room for what we assumed was the ultrasound. But when my fiance brought her home, he expressed concern that he got overcharged. Place is a joke. Would not see me because I haven't been there in 4 years and am no longer considered a "client". They are also not taking new "clients." No wonder I stopped going there. It's clearly a business since they call their patients "clients," they don't care about the animals just the money!
Ive loved this vet for many years and i dont understand why their care changed. My bird was recently diagnosed with a fatal disease and was suffering. Euthanasia was the only option. Suffield wouldn't do it without poking at my baby and making her suffer more. They say its their policy that a let being euthenized needs to be assesed first. We have been going to Vet hospital for about 30 years and have treated all our dogs over the years. Our dog Bailey has been treated for 10 years,we brought him in on the 31 of Dec.it was his time to go over the Rainbow Bridge, he was in a lot of pain because he had a heart condition, they told us to make an appointment, after all these years . so said, I will never go back to this place with my other two dogs again||||
