Our first visit scouting places for our parents gave us a fabulous feel. Robyn and Jocelyn were kind compassionate and energetic with all of the residents and so understanding of our situation. The follow up with our parents was a homerun. After several years of saying no, they signed on the dotted line their first visit. The interior of the property is beautifully updated and exceptionally clean, creating a warm and welcoming environment. I was a visitor at the Summit today and was very impressed by the facility, the friendliness and happiness of both the residents and staff I encountered during my time there and I thoroughly enjoyed my upscale dining experience. I was able to meet their chef, Jacob, and let him know how much I enjoyed my meal - unique and absolutely delicious!! I have heard many great things about the Summit and my experience reinforced all of them.
Jocelyn Newhall is absolutely the MOST amazing and caring person I have met in the journey to find long term care for my mom who has dementia. She took the time to answer all of our questions and listened to our concerns without judgment. She was so compassionate and thoughtful. Truly a standout not only her role at The Summit of Uptown but as a person who cares about others.
My mother was a resident of the Summit of Uptown ‘s Memory Care Unit. Her care was outstanding: she was always well groomed & nourished and the staff surrounded her with love and care. Everyone went the extra mile to care for her. They provided cognitive enhancing daily activities and treated all residents with dignity.
