RecommendedOur puppy was transferred to Sumner Vet after a bad reaction to her vaccination. Her vet was unable to stabilize her and she continued to convulse. Vet techs took her back the minute we walked in and they and the vets gave her the best care. She is now back to her happy puppy self! Thank you Sumner Vet for saving our pup! We are so grateful!

Love how involved they have always been in the community: FFA students at Sumner High School, Bonney Lake High School career fairs and local non-profit organizations. We were treated like family by the staff throughout the life of our dog Dakota.
Last weekend, we brought in a wolfdog that had been dumped and we'd been working to trap for several months. The vet we were planning to bring him to was closed due to it being a Sunday, so we had to try and find another. We couldn't have been happier with how well the Sumner Veterinary Hospital staff rose up to meet the challenge of treating him! I came in here Friday morning with my French Bulldog needing immediate attention. The front desk ladies and the vet were amazing. They made an extremely difficult situation as easy as possible. Thank you very much!
We have used this hospital for about 22 years now, and never been dissatisfied with their service. Not only do they have excellent doctors, but they have a 24 hour emergency service. We also board our animals here when necessary and have their grooming done here. Attached is a training facility that does everything from puppy kindergarten to skills like nose work.
Next weekend is the memorial service for my long time friend and vet Dr. Douglas Young. He was my vet for more than 20 years and has had such a huge impact on my family. (Our 18 yr old is attending Pre-Vet at WSU) The love, care and attentiveness he gave was so sincere and evident with his consistent devotion. I had a rough time adjusting when he retired this last summer, as he sold his practice and that personal touch seemed to fade.
