RecommendedI have had a couple emergency visits here and the staff is professional and compassionate. Recently I had to euthanize my elderly cat. I was amazed at the caring and dignified way my ailing kitty was treated. Definitely a top-notch clinic staffed by wonderful humans who truly care about our furry friends.
RecommendedI have taken our kitten Huckleberry here since March! I signed him up for the kitten plan. I have always had such great service here and he has been taken care of very well. He was neutered a few weeks ago and the doctor called me right after his surgery and told me how good he did and that he was just waking up. I highly recommend Sumner Vet!

RecommendedWe rushed our Mastiff puppy to their ER and I can’t thank the staff enough! They were so very caring and explained each step of treatment. They gave us estimates of his care and didn’t bleed us for money. They allowed me to stay with him as long as I wanted and once we determined he would need 24 hour care, they allowed us to visit any time we wanted for as long as we wanted. Hi, I was one of those late night "what is going on with my cat" people. So, after considering all of the not-so-cat friendly things an indoor/outdoor cat can encounter, I decided to bring my buddy in for an examination during the late night hours. Convenient and the only vet open in my area 24 hours a day. To make a long story short, they figured out what was causing him to be lethargic with little or no appetite. We have four dogs and used Sumner Vet for training, boarding and veterinary services for almost 14 years. On Wednesday, we had to say goodbye to my best friend Oliver after 13 years. Dr. Millard watched Oliver overnight and was the most wonderful, kind and loving vet that I have ever met.
