Nurses work hard to accommodate your needs throughout withdrawls. The connections I made with the other patients here were amazing. I felt welcomed into a family of people who could understand what I was going through. Staff try their best but there seems to be a block in communication between staff and the higher up directors. Often times if you need something or have a question, you will be given different answers which is frustrating. The Sunrise house was an amazing experience. The staff was accommodating and the Medical detox nurses went through great lengths to ensure I was comfortable. The only down sides to my stay was lack of on boarding information and what to expect, I didn\'t learn that until my 5th day into my stay. The AAC Call Center will tell you ANYTHING to get you to go, they lied about transportation home leaving me stressed and feeling stuck at the facility until It was arranged for me to get a ride to the Newark Train station. Sunrise House is a great place to goto to get your life back on track. All of the staff was extremely helpful and made sure I got the correct meds I needed to properly detox. Mike was awesome at assisting me and putting out some fires I had with the outside world. The building itself is so cool. Overall a great place to goto detox.
my stay was for the most part uneventful . i did have a seizure from withdrawal and was sent to the hospital. i returned on Wednesday April 21st and was advised my insurance was not accepted. i was put in touch with a wonderful young lady named Alex who worked her ass off to get me transferred to another facility . and also the supervisor Kurtis was very helpful and friendly . the mood at the facility was very calm and i would recommend sunrise to anyone who needs help with their addiction.

I love the staff, they were very informative, and helped me on my way to a speedy recovery and the groups were very informative and helped me in my recovery. i love the people here everyone is very nice from my peers to the clinical staff.
Wonderful staff, great experience. Met some wonderful Sober friends. Highly Recommend!
