We have a camper rental business, Coastal Camper Rentals of Fernandina, and we are always looking for good spots for our guests and our own family. We really enjoyed our time here. We had a waterfront site, and the sunsets are spectacular. We launched our kayak from the campground, and loved exploring Cedar Key, too. Sunset Isle has great amenities, and although the sites are a bit small, are still full hookup, and with the water and sunset views, cannot be beat! It was a great trip, and we will certainly return yearly!
Tight waterfront sites but view is worth it! More room on inner sites with ample laundry and shower/washroom facilities. Full hookup with cable TV. Very nice staff. Short bicycle ride into town of about 1 1/2 miles. Most sites are far enough from the road (FL 24) to be very quiet. Limited activity on a Sunday evening may help that. Very pleasant!

We had a great time! Camptel have moved out so it was very quiet but that didn't bother us. The tide does go out so if you want to paddle etc the evening is best. My only negative bits to say which they are fully aware of is the wifi, which they are investing in for the future and bathrooms. On occasion there was no toilet roll and lots o... read more
Only stayed one night, but had a nice dinner in town and then watched a beautiful sunset along with other guests. The grounds are well laid out with public spaces. Our unit was very clean and adorable.
