The whisker whip is a nice rod. I wish they would make a whisker whip rod with the monster rod features. I would buy a bunch of them. Make it happen TWC!
Now that I've had a month or two to pull in some cats on your rods, I would highly recommend them. Their craftsmanship is excellent the sensitivity and backbone has enables me to pull in several 50 lbers with ease. Just saving a bit to order one more to complete me cat fish boat.
These TWC rods are among the best available for catching catfish. I use both the Whisker Whip and the Extreme and can say that both are excellent paired with quality reels. The Whisker Whip is ideal for 5000/6000 series Abu Garcia reels and the Extreme pairs nicely with 6000/7000 series. I do a lot of night fishing so the fact that both the Extreme and Whisker Whip rods are available with white blanks now has made this company’s products even more desirable.
