If you go to Gershmans website you can even read where they talk down home loan for self employed. In my opinion, they do not understand the fact of how write offs and taxes work for self employed. If you are self employed, skip this lender. it is a waste of your time. You can have a 750 credit score and a 70k per year income and they will say you make 16k income. They simply do not get it
