Great meats. Mac and cheese not quite like grandma's.
I can recommend Ted's completely. It serves very good, fresh, food, is unpretentious, and comfortable. I've only been there once, but I'll certainly go again.
We loved this restaurant but the meats (one hamburger and 1/2 chicken) was very overcooked. my chicken was quite dry and my husbands medium burger was grey throughout. We loved the rest of our food but they did a poor job with the meat portion of our meal.
On this particular visit I had the "Southwest (West Virginia)" Burger-- it was delicious! Their breakfast is always a favorite of mine, but I was very impressed with this perfectly cooked burger. My friend also ordered a "Make Your Own" Burger and was very pleased with it.
This is the perfect spot for a low-key comfort food meal while indulging on an adult milkshake!
We didn't eat breakfast at Ted's, and I have a feeling that is why people go there. It was very loud, so not good for conversation. The diner-type food we ate was OK, but nothing special.
Serves breakfast all day long! Try the milkshakes, they're delicious!
The food was fine, basically your garden variety diner breakfast food. Maybe just a tad above average. My only complaint was that the food was cold - not just mine but my brunch companion's as well. Breakfast food is not good cold. But, the waiter was great and sought to remedy the situation. The homemade pop tarts were great, too!
Milk shakes are great, they make the whole experience.
