My mother and I had lunch here on a Friday; it was very busy. We enjoyed the decor and the lively atmosphere, plus the layout of the restaurant, which allows diners to watch the action in the kitchen / food-running area. The poptarts were great, as was the short rib sandwich. We'll definitely be back.
I'm feeling a little miffed by the dining experience I had here. We arrived at 6:33PM for a 6:30PM rsvp. We had to wait in line to speak to the hostess so by the time we got to her, it was 6:41PM and were told she held our table for 10 min and then gave it away. We didn't have to wait too much longer but I didn't really care for being "scolded" for being late when we were on time. Ted's Bulletin is the GREATEST!!!!!
The food was good and very well prepared. The coffee could have been hotter and a new waiter was being trained as they took our order. We had to ask for additional items like more coffee and bread but the service was fast and friendly.
I love the ambiance of Ted's. The food is really good, but I think a little highly priced for comfort food. Regardless, it's one of my favorite places to take friends when they visit.
Great comfort food. And the homemade poptarts are fun. I had 7 out of town guests, including 4 kids, and everyone just raved about their meal. Everyone found something they liked. Only down sides are difficulty getting in for dinner -- either a long wait or reservations well in advance -- and noise level.
The food was good, not great. The atmosphere is fun. I would go back, but only with a reservation where you walked right in.
