Our waitress was terrible, she ignored us and visibly had an attitude anytime she was speaking to us. It was perplexing, maybe she was just having a bad day
Restaurant in desperate need of a person managing waiters. Restaurant was empty, but waiters made us sit next to the reception desk, so that we could enjoy all her phone calls and discussion with all other guests. Waiter gave us one glass of water and never came back. Food was ok.
I have been eating at Ted’s since 2011 when they were only in Eastern Market and was so happy to see them expand, but I have to say my last few experiences have shown a decline in quality and service and I likely will not be eating here or recommending it again. I almost never give a poor review, but here goes nothing. My niece was in town for her birthday and we were looking for a quick fun place to have dinner. Having been to several Ted’s Bulletin’s before, we thought this would fit the bill. The food was surprisingly poor. Two of our guests did not even eat their meal. Very loud atmosphere, mediocre service with my daughter's pancakes coming late and my toast order not correct. The toast was dry and tasteless and the hashbrowns lacked flavor as well. I expected more from such a popular place that boasts its all day breakfast.
Food pretty good, although my son's steak was way, way undercooked. Most things a little ove-salted. Crab dip appetizer not the best, just okay. Service was terrible - wait and wait for our order to be taken. They dumped food off and left without asking if my son would like steak sauce, or if I'd like salt (not at table). The roast was burnt, as well as the meatloaf. Service was great.
Ted's Bulletin was disappointing. Our food, the sausage and pancakes were overcooked and dry. My English muffin was barely toasted, and the coffee was completely watered down. My husband's entree, the Huevos Rancheros was in no way prepared in comparison to the expectation of that dish, something he had frequently living in CA. Really good food and a great place but our server was terrible. We only saw him once when he took our order and he would walk past our table but never stopped to check in on us despite that it was not very busy. we had to flag down another server to get our check. Would recommend going back but be prepared for possible bad service.
