One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I dined at this restaurant with my partner and we were looking forward to Ted's french toast. I would like to point out that the overall environment and food was really good but the interaction with the waiter made the whole dining experience really awful. The waiter was rude the whole time, un attentive, with an attitude the whole time. If i decide to come back I will need to request a waiter change because i can not deal with the terrible service and interaction he... read more
This place took AN HOUR to seat us even though we had a reservation made a month prior. Food was fine. But we seriously were not impressed. they promised us free appetizers and then took back on their word. not waitresses fault, just very upsetting. also $11 for a milkshake is INSANE, and milkshake melted instantly. rather go to mcdonald's. and this is coming from someone from a texas citizen. I will NOT be coming back to Ted's Bulletin. PS: ASK FOR FREE CRACKERS!!!!!
Definitely a large departure from the DC Ted's. Had a slapped together breakfast sandwich and the chicken and biscuits. Bill was close to $50. Food was not up to par. Also, not a big deal but maybe speaks to misaligned priorities: When we asked for extra gravy for the biscuits they told us it would be extra. Seems like a poor parting choice . Ted's has been one of my favorite comfort food go to's. I'm rooting for you Ted's, get it together!
I had the overnight oats with figs and it was so good I haven't stopped thinking about it! I also loved their smore pop tart. It was leveled up and totally worth it. The espresso martini was also delicious. Our server checked in a good amount, and the manager was nice to say hi and chat a bit. PS - the earlier you come, the better since they get so busy
Great food and wonderful service here‼ It was a great atmosphere with great food‼ Definitely recommend Ted's Bulletin‼
Another visit, another round of bad service. The food comes screaming out of the kitchen, the strength of this place. But I am left waiting for my server longer than it took to order and eat. Again. And the entire restaurant has 4 tables sat on a quiet Sunday morning. Doubt I'll ever be coming back.
Normally a fan of Ted's Bulletin but tried to go here with a larger party today (noting it was not particularly busy) and the host at the front rolled their eyes at us, which was incredibly rude. We will not be dining here again, not if greeted with that kind of service.
This place is still a class act. I use to frequent the location in D.C. I did not know they had a location in Fairfax. The food is plenty and good. The space is classic, old time upscale diner. The service is great. Now, while I loved the grits, I don't want cream or milk in my grits. I just want water.
Came for here dinner at 6:30pm on a Tuesday. My son ordered the waffle which he enjoyed. I ordered the tuna bowl and it was borderline inedible, my son even mentioned it was really stinky and had to cover his nose to eat his waffle. Tuna was frozen, had a weird smell and color, and was crusted in sesame but the seeds were so hard that it felt a bit on a bone. Riced was microwaved and very mushy. Didn't want to complain and just paid and left. Place was pretty slow. May put Teds on my list of restaurants to not return to.
