Our server in training and her trainer were so amazing!
The breakfast meals were very delicious. I got the french toast. It was thick cut and was served with delicious syrup and butter. The hashbrowns were crispy outside and soft inside. The bacon was done just right. Crispy but not burnt. I made a reservation with special instructions and they did accommodate my special request and did not forget about it. Eat here. It is definitely worth it
Tasty food (and breakfast all day, plus adult milkshakes—yum!) but can get noisy on busy nights.

I ordered pretty basic food (pancakes, eggs and bacon) and the bacon was limp, scrambled eggs were over cooked and a bit brown. Should have gone to a diner. Service was very good.
Delicious brunch. Portions are large; use “lighter fare” menu if you’re not really hungry.
The service and menu selections are top notch. There is something for everyone at Ted's.
First real meal in DC and it didn’t disappoint. One person had the burger shake combo special for mondays. Burger is massive and quite tasty. My son had the kids burger with a side of Mac and cheese. That mac and cheese was fire. I had the tuna bowl. Warm crispy rice with the seared tuna was super filling. Would highly recommend.
A longtime favorite for American comfort food. Always crowded, always good food & good value. My only criticism: waitstaff work hard and are super pleasant but rather slow especially when waiting for menus or waiting for the check. It’s popular so I always make a reservation; it’s rare to score a table without one.
