All I can say is she is great!!
Takes the time to listen and is very caring.
Dr. Hernandez seems very nice. I have seen her twice. However, there is something wrong somewhere in this office. For example, I had blood work done but it never included a cholesterol panel at all. I called and requested it be added. (I have a history of high cholesterol.) During the visit, the doctor didn't have the results since only page 3 went through the fax a week before. Why wasn't this part of the initial panel? Why didn't someone make sure all results were in? What's going on?
Our office called to get a lab order for a mutual patient that came to the Halifax PO outpt lab, however, the order had incorrect dx codes to cover the labs ordered. When our lab personnel called, the receptionist was UNNECESSARILY RUDE AND NASTY to both our office staff as well as the patient. Yelled at our office staff and stated "I am not a child, YOU listen to ME". All we were trying to do was assist the patient and your staff made it more difficult that it needed to be.
The office staff lies telling me they've called in my sleeping aid script to the pharmacy. The staff flat out lies about it. I contact the pharmacy and they tell me it hadn't been called after having JUST been told it was called in 30 minutes earlier. They flat out lie about having called in the script. I call the office back, and am told they are right on it. Then the very next day I call the pharmacy and told they still never received it. At first she seemed to really care about my care. But over time i’ve Noticed she seems to be in another world. Her mind doesn’t seem with the game anymore. She rushes out of the room without answering my questions or even giving me the opportunity to ask. There have been times she doesn’t go over my test results. When the nurse comes in with orders I’ve been left surprised because she never told me about anything being ordered. Her staff is fantastic and always friendly and compassionate. Although nice, I wish she was more knowledgeable and thought outside the box. Symptom and pill kind of doctor. I had to go out of network to find a good doctor who was finally able to find what was wrong with me.
Horrible doctor. She could care less about your health. No personality nor bed side manners. She seems mentally unstable. Don't cancel. She will send you a dear John bye bye letter.
Started out very good, graduated to great and then went downhill because of her nurse. She is very crude, unsympathetic, abrasive, belittling & dismissive. Totally unprofessional as a nurse. I thought they were supposed to be caring, but not her. Annie, at the front window, is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL !!
