My wife and I found this at the last minute on Open Table and decided to give it a try. We drove up and were disappointed to see it in a shopping center next to a Stein Mart. But when we walked inside it was like a world in a bubble. The inside was hopping and interestingly situated, but the back "patio" was really amazing. My fiance and I found Terra online and made reservations. We were disappointed the hostess didn't seat us in their back garden area (something we found out about via another patron after dinner was over) The meal was a bit overpriced, but good to most standards, however, my sweet potatoes were unpalatable. This cozy and inviting Brookhaven hideaway provides high style food with wonderful flavor WITHOUT the usual sodium MSG blast. Warm and inviting atmosphere and professional service. Love the back patio booths.
They have a lovely enclosed patio with a waterfall at one end. Our party of 5 had a nice round table which is perfect for a little group of friends. We each had a nice glass of wine along with a light lunch. I had a delicious chicken sandwich with my choice of a small side salad. More than enough food. Nice unobtrusive service
Food was excellent! Overall experience, so so... Attempted to purchase a bottle of wine, but both of the ones we were interested in were not in stock so we switched gears and ordered a 1/2 bottle that was quite good, but left me wanting more. Lastly, given that this restaurant provides so many GF and vegetarian options on normal days - I was surprised when their special menu only included one vegetarian option despite my calling ahead to confirm there would be option(s), plural.
Recently moved to the area and stumbled upon this restaurant without having seen any write ups. Food was excellent, sauces on three different dishes we tried were outstanding. Good drink list and extensive wine list. Service was great. Sound level was much lower than most restaurants these days. Can't wait to go back and looking forward to trying the outdoor dinning.
My wife and I went to Terra Terroir for our "Valentine's Dinner" (actually Saturday Night) and it was awesome! We were delayed by traffic, called, and the manager was able to delay our reservation by 30 mins with no fuss. We still made it onto the patio which was my main objective. The wine list was great, the food was great, and our server (Bryan) made us feel very welcome. Overall I found this restaurant to be a very neat find in the middle of an otherwise ordinary location and will be going back again!
I went here with two friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was good and reasonably priced, and the service was very good. When we asked to see a dessert menu, there wasn't a printed menu, but the waiter told us the choices. The birthday girl ordered a piece of cake. I was shocked when I saw the price on the bill - $14! That was more than the pasta and the risotto. That price seems way out of line with the price of food.
Terra Terroir is definitely a neighborhood gem!! I wish we had one closer to where we live but we will drive to Brookhaven to enjoy the wonderful ambience and delicious meals!
