We enjoyed an excellent pre theater dinner. Service was pleasant and located close to Oglethorpe where we attended As You Like It. The was the third or forth time we have dined here before a show and each time it was equally good quality food and service. It also has a very pleasant atmosphere.
I took an old friend from out-of-town to dinner. I selected Terra Terroir for its consistently great food, wait service, and atmosphere. We dined on the patio and were not disappointed. We both chose the specials, tuna and lamb burger. They were cooked to perfection. We also shared the grilled brussels sprouts. Yummy. Our waitress was new, but informed and energetic. She checked on us often.
My two friends and I enjoyed a pre-theater dinner of wonderful salads and veal. The service was amazing, the wine flowed and we had a lovely garden with a waterfall near by. This is my third visit and I have always had sea bass before, which is also very nicely prepared, a favorite!
We originally planned to be on the patio but this evening was particularly hot/humid. They willingly accommodated us inside the AC. Food was great!
Great restaurant and great food!! Will definitely be going back.
You could easily imagine yourself in a small cafe in Vienna or Pisa or somewhere fun like that when you sit in the back patio for dinner. The service is great and the food, even better. Wonderfully proportioned plates don't overwhelm you in size, just in flavor.
The patio is a lovely setting, though a little warm on a humid summer day. They have fans and there is a breeze, so it's not bad as long as you dress for it. They have a nice menu with a lot go variety. Our party enjoyed the roasted beet cold soup and the special BLT as well as the bread pudding with bananas for dessert. Service was a little slow given the small number of parties there, but fortunately we were not in a hurry.
The service and the food were both good. And the prices were reasonable. My only complaint was that the seats were uncomfortable. I usually like booths, with their big soft cushions. But the seats were high, so my feet didn't rest comfortably on the floor. And the cushions were very soft, so you sank too far into them. But besides that, it was a great place.
I'm beginning to wonder if booking under OT is worth it. Third time in the past few months whereour table was possibly the worst in the restaurant. The front room and main pation oozes with ambiance but we were walked by several open tables to the very back. Felt like we were eating near the dumpsters. Extensive wine list, lots of unique choices at only 2x average markup. Food was just OK, nothing memorable or compelling me to return.
