We enjoyed a nice dinner at Terra Terroir with good service on a busy Wednesday night. It's a bit pricey so we save it for special occasions. The atmosphere is warm and friendly.
The highlight is the wine list. They have a bunch of Wine Spectator ranked bottles that you wouldn’t be able to find on your own. The food is built around classic pairings, and it’s quite good. Our service was very good. The decor is either your thing or it’s not. Tons of plants and well air conditioned outdoor space. Definitely check it out, it looked like it was a regular go to spot for the well to do, and a nice date spot. I will go back.
Our waitperson Musslels(Syd) was terrific. She was efficient and humorous. Would love to have her again!
We have eaten here many times before, but last night was a disappointment. The service was very slow and the food was not up to par either. My salad - House of Greens, which I’ve ordered several times previously consisted of a bowl of spinach with just a tiny amount of apples and nuts in there. Disappointing.
I love Terra Terroir! Regrettably, the garden area where our table for two was located was in between two other tables with loud patrons. It was difficult for us to have a conversation until they departed.
Food and service were excellent!! Never disappoints. Unique garden area is so pleasant.
I’ve been here two times before and always enjoyed myself. This time our waiter was curt with me. When I asked questions about the menu he barely let me get my question out before he answered. Is a plain burger available? We only have what’s on the menu. Can I see the dessert menu? We only have one dessert. Needless to say it will be a long time before I return, if I ever do. I can do better for a $17 burger and not so great service.
Our experience was outstanding! We chose the tile fish as our entree and it was delicious. Since it was a bday celebration, we ordered the bread pudding and it was fantastic! Our server Tiffany took great care of us.
The atmosphere was nice as we sat in the garden area. I have to say the best part of the meal was the bread and butter. I had the crab cake and it was a bit too bready and over seasoned so you didn’t really taste the crab. Our water glasses were never refilled and one of our guests had a small worm show up right beside his plate. When we showed it to our waiter his comment was “we’re in a garden so that happens”.
