Everyday staff have been wonderful and we have not had any issues with them. I do really like the facility, I think it is a good place to have a loved one. They really try as hard as they can to accommodate. I do find that the providers are not as communicative as they should be with families, but they are about to change over to a new group.
We chose TerraBella Harrisburg because it was recommended by someone local and we contacted them as a result of that. The location was very convenient for us as well. My cousin really had no complaints. All in all they are very pleasant and professional to deal with. It has changed hands since we have been there so I am not sure how things are now.
We had a very good experience overall. The only thing that was not good was they would not allow my loved ones to bring in their own medications. As a result of that, we had to pay out of pocket for the bill that was sent to us from their pharmacy since our insurance would not cover it. But the staff were very friendly and cordial with my loved ones. And they told me that the food was very good.
We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly. If they were closer to us we would have picked Elmcroft
Elmcroft gave us a great tour. If it was up to me this would have been my first choice. It has the same layout as the facility she picked and I really like that it is all on 1 floor and there are no stairs or elevators. I would recommend them based on what I saw.
[Name removed] who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and friendly. Other staff we spoke with were also very friendly. Everything looked very clean and tidy. Interactions with residents were very positive.
My grandma just moved here. The staff is great and she is adjusting well thanks to all their hard work.
