I think the staff generally cares for the well-being of the residents. They do call them by their names and do tend to know the specifics of each resident and their needs. I am pleased when they address them individually and it is obvious that they know exactly what to do, when the Memory Care patients are upset or needs to be directed. Communication can be difficult. Not all assistants have been kind and respectful to my Mother-in-law. I have seen a garden but I don't think they have used it to engage residents and include produce into the meals. There is potential there. I don't know all the barriers, but I have seen better.
The staff was incredibly friendly and really seemed attentive to my mother. No matter when we dropped by, and we intentionally did so randomly, the facility was clean, the staff seemed happy and so did the residents. Our experience was with memory care so I can speak to what the assisted living side was like. Dislikes are there were times I felt they could have been more communicative about issues my mother was having.
The facility is understaffed so less attention is paid to those needing less care. They do not provide transportation services as advertised. The we have had several items "disappear". The CNA's are extremely helpful and kind. The menu needs to have more variety and more flavor. One more comment: the staff is slow to follow through on requested items and/or call backs.
Decent upgrades, remodeled facility, good care, and much lower monthly cost than competitors we reviewed. employees were very friendly and tried to assist and make things as good as possible. worst aspect was the food quality and servings, this was my mother's biggest complaint.
Communication is not consistent and we have had a hard time with the nursing staff. The bathroom and bedroom are not cleaned by staff. Towels and linens have gone missing. Staff is friendly and have been kind to our mother. Food is basic cafeteria food. It has been challenging for my mother in law who does not have enough teeth to adequately chew food.
We toured TerraBella Hillsborough during our search for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. I liked this facility. The cleanliness was good. Everyone was very friendly. This facility was nice!
The staff at TerraBella is friendly and comfortable working with the population they serve. The facility had an acrid odor. Convenient location. Overall I would recommend it.

My loved one seems to be very happy there. I'm having problems with the office staff not doing what they need to do regarding the financial component. Nobody seems to know what they're doing regarding statements and bank drafts, which is frustrating. Also they've dropped the ball on coordinating a prescription with her doctor. They've been very friendly and seem to be trying to fix the problem. They just didn't know how. The apartment is small, but it's fine. She likes her roommate and gets along well with her.
