We chose Elmcroft of Shelby because of the location it is in, it is close to family and the best in the area. If you pay a bigger price you get a bigger room, she has a 2 room suite. According to her the kitchen is closed down because they are remodeling so they are catering food in. it is being delivered and there is not a lot variety. When they opened the kitchen in the beginning, she was happy with the food. Overall, I would recommend.

Mom moved in January and she is really enjoying it. She cannot believe how nice everyone is to her. Everyone I have worked with has been very nice and concerned that she have a positive experience. They take very good care of her. Could not have found a better place!!!!

This facility is the best choice in the area. The building itself is nice and it’s always clean. However, sometimes there is an odor from all the incontinent residents. The staff members here are very caring but in the beginning, I had a few issues. Not even a week later, those issues were fixed and have not had a problem since. The people in charge are on top of things and make sure to make the families feel comfortable. They try their best to make the environment homey and warm.
