Thai Square Covent Garden is perfect for a bit of spicy food before a show or night out. The food is of a good standard and the staff are very friendly. The set menu was amazing value for money - we were totally stuffed!!!
Those lights in the middle on the wire, will they ever get fixed. Such a hazard waiting to happen, some lights still not working and goes that at seem to be burning the shades. Back to the meal: had to chase many times to get water, had to chase to have to have the order taken, the sticky rice could have been used as cement, must be on hold for such a long time. Had mixed starters which was OK, I have the duck salad which was OK and my other guest had mixed sea food. Other restaurants to chose in future. No wow factor to kee... read more
The food is amazing! Having chosen the silver menu for 2 people, I had a good choice of a variety of mains and chose the panang beef which was cooked to perfection! The service is also great and was definitely worth the money; it cost about £45 for two people which included starters, mains, accompaniments and deserts! Would definitely recommend for a special occasion!
This was my first time visiting the Soho branch of Thai Square, I generally opt for the Strand or Trafalgar Square branches. On arrival the waitress were prompt to address new comers and escort me/us to our table. The open lay out exposed the vast amount of space available and I immediately thought about future group bookings... Then I looked at the menu. The menu contains the usual suspects (pad Thai, coconut rice, chicken satay etc) but it also contain a few new suprises like their coconut and lamb curry. The food was amaz... read more
Another great visit to a Thai Square branch! I went to the Covent Garden branch last week with my mum to have a quick bite before heading to the theatre. Our food arrived very quickly! And was the usual excellent standard I have come to expect of Thai Square. Always good to have the vegetarian options on a separate page too. Thank you!!
Pleasant atmosphere. Efficiently and promptly served. There was a set pre theatre meal which looked good value.
As always with Thai Square, good examples of Thai food, very friendly and efficient service and a pleasant meal. Ambience wasn't brilliant as the restaurant was quite empty and yet we seemed to be put on an odd table in front of an unused door, which just felt a little weird. They may also want to consider their spice rating. My dish was indicated as being 'slightly spicy' but I was struggling a little towards the end, and I'm not usually soft with spices. Overall it was pretty decent though
Food was good but obviously already prepared as came out in like 5 mins. And was luke warm. For such a talked about restaurant I have to say I expected more. Servers were attentive and always to hand. Would dine there again. Price middle of the row. £50 for 2 and only included a glass of wine for one.
Thai square we both enjoyed our pre theatre meal the tables and chairs are a little close together but a minor thing really
