We went on 16/03/12 for pre theatre set menu, there were 4 of us and the cost was £15.00 per head. The cost of food (£60.00), four beers and a bottle of wine (£40.00) including service charge was £100.00 between the four of us. We had been on a previous visit and would go back again. The staff are really professional/welcoming/friendly. The food was really good/served warm/timely/plenty of it.
We went to Thai Sq- Covent Garden on Saturday night for a hen night there were 15 of us. Some of the guest were waiting an hour before a menu was brought to them and one of the diners main courses was delayed and one of them didn't get their main course. It was a busy evening, but the wait for menus and drinks was a tad ridiculous, overall the food was lovely and the value for money was good I would recommend the restautant and hope the wait was just a one off.
Good food, busu, bustling atmosphere, but service was patchy.
Thai Square is in a very nice, central location and its decor and atmosphere is nice. Everything inside is clean - toilets too. The food is good but nothing too special. I have had more tasty and bigger portions for the same or less money in other restaurants. The staff are a bit dry and seemed bored. It was a good lunch but nothing I would seek to go again any time soon.
Food was great however service was not good at all. Waiters were quite moody .
We went for lunch at Thai Square in Covent Garden, and we all thought the food was delicious. They had a good selection of lunch offers too, one diner ordered the lunch box and we all couldn't believe our eyes, there was so much food for the price! Some good veggies options too (but only if you like tofu). Our office regularly goes for lunch around Covent Garden, and we've tried lots of thai places as it's a favourite, and we all agreed, Thai Square is definitely the best!
Thia Square, and in particularly this one near Covent Garden, is a firm favourite of mine. Always good food and service and great location. Would definitely recommend.
Nice food and good service - would definitely visit again
We had dinner at Thai Square Covent Garden last Saturday. The food was of very high standard, the place neat and relatively quiet, and the staff helpful. The decor inside the restaurant transports you somewhere far from the chaos of big City like London, somewhere far away in the east where traditions are eternal. Apart from the noodles which we found were overcooked at the bottom, the experience was top notch!
