Thai Square in Islington never lets down on either the quality of the food or its service. For a balmy Summer's evening, the spicy salads went down a treat combined with appetisers for sharing. The beef salad comes highly recommended.
basic but a bit pricy
Thai Square - Islington The surroundings were nice, and we chose from the set menu for pre theatre crowds. At times the waitress came across as a little short in her responses, but I guess they may have had a number of tables to cover. The food was of a good standard.
The food was superbly presented and my request to have the lamb ribs "well done" was met to my satisfaction. The service was terrible - Thursday night and quite busy, yet they forgot my friend's starter and after 40 minutes of waiting politely, whilst mine was getting cold, we reminded them and they looked confused even though the waitress confirmed our order and had clearly written it down! The toilets were pokey and required serious manouvering - and I'm small at 5ft6, and I felt cramped
Great food, sensibe portions and nice atmosphere. Only negative point, waiting staff started clearing up, sweeping floor and presented us with the bill when we were not quite ready to leave!
Been a year since I've been there,and it didn't dissapoint. Food was nice, service wan't bad.

Thai Square in Islington - 2nd visit, food just as good and excellent value for money, service was not great, restaurant wasn't too busy but still very difficult to order more drinks.
We had a lovely meal at Thai Square in London. We booked it to watch the Thai puppet show. We were called half an hour before our reservation as the show had been cancelled, which was disappointing. The portions were large and the bill was good value - £40 for three of us. We even took a doggie bag home.
